Restore Pro is a two-phase tool. The 14-day pre-show top-dress phase builds the animal’s electrolyte and performance baseline before the stress of travel and showing. The at-show water additive phase solves the dehydration problem that affects every show animal that travels.
The water refusal problem: Animals drinking from the same water source for months will often refuse water at a new location — the minerals, smell, and taste are different. A dehydrated show animal looks flat, lacks muscle fullness, and performs poorly. Adding Restore Pro to show water makes it familiar, encourages normal intake, and keeps the animal hydrated through the entire show.
Flavored water strategy: The cherry or vanilla flavor is not just for palatability — it creates a consistent flavor profile the animal has been drinking at home. Starting the flavored water a week before the show trains the animal to associate the flavor with normal drinking, so when they encounter the same flavor at the show, they drink readily.
