Russ' Rag Oil

Overview

Russ’ Rag Oil is Sullivan’s original deep conditioning treatment — the “Sullivan exclusive” formula attributed to Russ Brannen. Built on high-grade lanolin, olive oil, plant seed oils, Vitamin E, and the VITA HAIR complex (Biotin, Pro-Vitamin B-5, Vitamin E), it is used as an intensive overnight soak mixed with Kleen Sheen rather than applied straight. Available in quart and ½-gallon sizes. For show lambs where coat quality is a priority — especially for wool breeds or lambs with thin, dry hides — the Rag Oil overnight treatment is the most intensive conditioning option in Sullivan’s topical line.

Application Instructions

Overnight treatment protocol (Sullivan’s recommended):

1. Mix: 1/3 Russ’ Rag Oil + 2/3 Kleen Sheen in a spray bottle
2. Apply over entire body
3. Allow to soak overnight
4. Rinse in the morning before the show

Frequency: Used as needed 1–3 times per week in the final prep phase or the week before a show.
