Always read and follow product labels for feeding and sheep safety.

Overview

Show-Rite Muscle-In-Motion is described as the highest-fat pellet in the Show-Rite lineup, used early in the program to add dimension, bloom, and fat cover to late-maturing or lean lambs. It integrates “the latest in animal nutrition technologies” with 21% protein, 7% fat, and 3,000 PPM zinc. Circuit feeders use it in the first half of the program before transitioning to Star Shine or Sculpt as the lamb’s condition develops.

Muscle-In-Motion is the first supplement added to the Show-Rite program for sale lambs or late-maturing animals that need fat coverage and dimension early. Cooper Newcomb’s guide recommends 4 oz per feeding as the entry point. Once the animal reaches acceptable condition, feeders transition away from Muscle-In-Motion toward Star Shine (for shape without excess fat) or Sculpt (for fat burning).

Real-World Feeding Rate

  • Typical rate: 4–6 oz/day; 4 oz per feeding per Newcomb guide
  • Introduction timeline: Start early in the program (weeks 12–9 or at project purchase)

Phase Protocols

Weeks 12–9 | Foundation Phase

Add 4 oz per feeding on top of NewCo Lamb Feed for lambs that need bloom and cover from the start.

Weeks 8–6 | Condition Building Phase

Continue if animal still needs more cover. Evaluate and transition to Star Shine or Sculpt once target condition is approached.

Weeks 5–3 | Fill & Shaping Phase

Typically phased out in favor of Star Shine or Sculpt by this point. May continue at low dose for very lean late-maturing animals.

Stacking Protocols

Pairs well with: Rite Tyme (start Rite Tyme around 90–100 days out on top of the base Muscle-In-Motion program). Transitions to: Star Shine (once fat cover is established, swap to Star Shine for shape without additional fat) or Sculpt (if fat removal is needed).
